Thanks to the three-day weekend and a friend’s invitation to go to La Union, my dream of being able to surf finally came true! It has always been part of my “to-do” list. Especially after I climbed mountains in 2005, I felt that it would be something that I’d love just because it involved the sun, sand, and sea. Hehe. Opportunities came in the past, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to participate for one reason or another.
Anyway, it was a fun, fun, experience! I have always believed that water activities would be something that I’d excel in. Wag lang mga long slides or anything that has to do with speed. I was blessed with a very good instructor, waves that were just right, and a surfboard that was “hiyang” to me. I was able to stand on the first few tries, and aced it on the second day. I was super proud of myself! Sarap ulitin! :)
