I will probably invest in weight loss products soon. Summer is just a few months away and I am too weak to resist temptation (i.e., food). I have managed to jog at the park twice in the past two weeks, but I always end up eating dinner after and heavy meals at that. For lunch today, I ordered a fully loaded meal from KFC. So good luck to me. I should probably be in tankinis and retire my bikinis soon. Haha.
My sister is thinking of getting a Nintendo Wii before she comes home. I’m not really literate when it comes to gadgets specifically intened for gaming. I have not even owned a playstation or a PS2 in my life. Haha. Anyway, I’ve played the Wii a few times at a friend’s house. I looked pretty stupid to be honest. Not really recommended as a form of exercise, but it sure can be entertaining. :P
I’m in this phase of wanting to buy my own DSLR, just the basic Nikon D40 kit will do. Nothing fancy, I just want really, really good pictures whenever my photographer friends aren’t around. I’m still thinking about it though. Because mom knows how much I scrimp on the more important stuff. Ugh, this is crazy. The other day I wanted a 4th generation ipod nano. What is happening to me? :P
I’ve always envied houses who have mini theaters inside them. It must be nice having theater chairs in one room, chewing on unlimited popcorn, and drinking bottles of soda. I also like homes with a swimming pool in the backyard, a getaway would be just a few steps away. Given my current financial status, I will never be able to afford an extra room just for movies or have a pool within my area. I guess I have to settle for a really nice flat screen tv and scout for gorgeous tv lifts for it. For the pool, I guess I would have to go out of town for that, which I certainly do not mind. :P
I watched Yes Man last weekend with the boyfriend. I heard that it was based on a novel with the main character being played by Jim Carrey. I’m not a Carrey fan (I think he’s a bit OA at times), but in fairness, he made me laugh in some parts of the film. The movie was inspiring, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and say yes to opportunities that come your way. How I wish things were that easy, taking risks and just going for it. How I wish our fears didn’t have much impact on our dreams.
It’s the Chinese New Year once again and tikoys are bound to be in every family’s table this season. :) My family, although not of Chinese descent, takes part in the tradition by placing fruits, rearranging furnitures, and what-nots. Hehe. Feng Shui is in! In preparation for the occasion, she even bought several charms that would bring good luck to us in the year of the ox. I’m just glad that she didn’t go to the extent of purchasing new stuff like water fountains, money trees, ceiling fans (lol, i’m just kidding).
