If there’s one thing that I would gladly spend on, it’s swimwear. I wear my bathing suits more than once, but I make it a point that I have two to three new ones each year? Is that too much? I guess it only shows how much I adore the sun, sand, and sea. Just knowing that I’d get too spend a few days on a beach somewhere gives me a natural high.
Of course, not all styles suit me though, but I’m an absolute fan of triangle tops and string bikinis. I wish I could wear them again soon. Sigh.
I have recently discovered that even friendships have a certain “honeymoon” stage. After the initial stage of getting to know each other, there comes a point wherein your fondness for each other is slowly tested. Once a person is comfortable enough with the other, he/she lets loose, and the not so good traits begin to surface. Just like in any relationship, misunderstandings are inevitable. But one good thing about friendship is that there are no breakups.
One of the things that I love the most about having guests in the workplace is the gifts that they bring once in a while. While there are the usual post-its and pens, I have received flash drives and cooler stuff such as an all-in-one adaptor/converter.
I love freebies and I love collecting promotional items in general. I was browsing some Multiply pages and other sites and it got me thinking of customizing my stuff as well as what most companies do. :)
Do you know why a secret is never really a secret?
Because in the thing that we call “circle of trust”, each one in that circle has his/her own circle of trust. And unfortunately for a lot of people, it is bound to be broken along the way.
Sometimes, it’s really better for us to just shut up.
A few weeks ago, I purchased something new from a nearby department store. It’s Nivea’s My Silhouette. Coupled with belly dancing exercises, lots of water, tea, diet pills and/or supplements, it was instrumental in helping me lose 3 pounds in one week. If this will continue, I’ll probably back in my best form in less than three months. I just wish I could maintain the discipline and stop eating. Wah!
I had my first taste of wine at the age of 4. I was being my usual curious self back then, and I wanted my lolo (who was at that time drinking with his friends) to let me have a sip from his glass. It looked like Coke to me anyway, and I didn’t stop until he eventually gave in to my request. As expected in a 4 year old, I didn’t like it. :P
Fast forward to twenty-something years, I would once in a while have an opportunity to try different wines. Thanks to a number of business meetings and events where toasts are called for. It amazes me how diverse these wines are, and amuses me how knowledgeable other people are when it comes to these things. They probably belong to a wine of the month club or something. :P
